The sporting range is approximately a 3 mile drive from Athens and is located at 405 Corlad Road (formerly Iron Bridge Rd)The sporting range area includes archery, rifle, and pistol target areas. We recently completed upgrades to the Shooting range and have a 100 yard, 50 yard, 25 yard and 25 feet ranges.
A local archery organization utilizes the sporting range in summer months to an area used for an archery 3 dimensional shooting league.
Sporting Range Rules: *All targets must be affixed to snow fence *Must shoot from under shelter
*Paper targets only *No clay pigeons *No exploding targets *Pick up casings and targets after use and dispose of properly *No alcohol allowed
HOURS: April through September
Mon-Sat : 9am to 7pm
Sun: Noon to 7pm
October through March Mon-Sat : 9am to 4:30pm Sun: Noon to 4:30pm
