ATV/UTV MAP - NO USAGE ON HIGHLIGHTED AREAS!

Village ATV/UTV Route - UPDATED AUGUST 2024

The Village Board approved an updated ATV/UTV route within the Village limits.  Golf Carts are also allowed to use this route. The highlighted portion on the map show the streets that ARE NOT open to ATV/UTV use. The portion not open includes Highway 97 (north of Kreutzer Street and south of Plisch Street) and West Alfred Street (the one-way in the downtown area).


*Speed limit is the posted speed limit for vehicle traffic
*Hours of operation are 5am to 10pm
*Use on sidewalks is prohibited
*ATV and UTV operators born on or after Jan. 1, 1988 who are at least 12 years old for ATV (and at least 16 years old for UTV) must complete an ATV and UTV safety certification course in order to operate on public ATV/UTV trails and areas in Wisconsin.
*All ATV/UTV operators and passengers under the age of 18 are required to wear a minimum DOT standard ATV or motorcycle helmet with the chin strap properly fastened. Bicycle helmets do not meet this requirement
*All Wisconsin DNR rules and regulations must be followed for use on public roads.  Wisconsin DNR All-Terrain/Utility-Terrain Laws

 


ATV/UTV's are not allowed in Village parks/trails...this includes the Village Cemetery, Erbach Park (beyond Erbach Shelter), Athens Park and the Shooting Range.

This route is considered a privilege, not a right...so please obey these rules so that the route will stay open!!
