Spring Cleanup/Scrap Pickup and Electronic Collection


Collection of large items and excess garbage for Village residents will be held at the Village Garage (125 Goodrich Street) on Friday, June 19th from 10am to 4pm and Saturday, June 20th from 8am to Noon (No after hours collection will be allowed).  This collection is ONLY for Village residents who pay for the weekly curbside garbage service.  Proof of residency may be required.  You will be responsible for the unloading of items. The Village reserves the right to limit quantities. 

 

List of Unacceptable Trash Materials (Please note this is not a comprehensive list, but it covers the majority of item categories):  Batteries, Household or Industrial Waste, Major Appliances, Hazardous Waste, Electronics, Asbestos, Televisions, Machinery, Radios, Tires, Cell Phones, Compost, Computers, Auto Parts, Computer Accessories, Ashes or Hot Materials, Waste Oil, Ballasts, Fluorescent Lightbulbs, Construction Material, Drywall, and Concrete 

 

SCRAP PICKUP - on Saturday, June 20thfrom 8am-Noon (Please note this will also be held at the Village Garage), scrap metal and appliances will be collected at no charge with the exception of Refrigerators/Freezers, Propane Tanks, Air Conditioners, Dehumidifiers, and TVs.  Please text/call Chad at 715-574-9867 with specific questions regarding Saturday’s collection

SCRAP AND APPLIANCE PICK UP INFORMATION

NEW THIS YEAR:  on Saturday, June 13th, from 8am-Noon in the Village Municipal Building parking lot, COM2 Recycling will be holding a FREE electronics collection. They will accept TVs, computers, laptops, printers, keyboards, tablets, DVD players/VCRs and much more.
